Meet Your Host: Andrea Kaplan
Ayurvedic Counselor & Registered Nurse
Warm greetings~ My journey into Ayurveda began in childhood with yoga and deepened in 2020 while working as a nurse in NYC. After the pandemic, I traveled across the U.S. as a nurse but felt increasingly drawn to holistic healing. I studied Ayurvedic Medicine for a year before traveling to India for immersive, hands-on training. Now, as a full-time student on the path to becoming an Ayurvedic Doctor, I am honored to study at Ayurved Sadhana in Colorado under a lineage of Vaidyas (traditional doctors) that stretches back thousands of years.
Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, is an ancient system of holistic medicine that integrates lifestyle, diet, and herbal treatments.
In these workshops, I’ll share the healing wisdom of Ayurveda—helping you discover how to use common pantry spices to nourish and balance the body.
Outside of my studies, I love the outdoors, yoga, pranayama (breathwork), live music, community, making bread, and food as medicine.
Looking forward to connecting with you at our Bridge “Pantry Chats”!
Om Shanti
